The "Rag and Bone van" is a unique and innovative new service brought to you by the Liverpool Recycling group Northwest Recycling Ltd which incorporates Northwest Textiles Recycling Ltd and Northwest Electronic Recycling Ltd.
This new service combines all aspects of the group's recycling activities, allowing us to collect electronic and textile waste from public and private premises.
This is a modern approach to an old and well loved tradition....the local Rag and Bone man! The Rag and Bone man earned a place in the nation's heart through providing a trade and earnings to the public for things which would otherwise arrive at landfill and tip sites.
It may be said that the Rag and Bone men were pioneering chaps and were far ahead of their time, reusing and recycling most of the nations rubbish with very little wastage. One could argue we should go back to our roots and reinstate the Rag and bone man..and that's what we have done....welcome back, we have missed you!
